Extension system for solar cable

With the extension cable, a solar module can be disconnected from the charge controller in no time at all, which is connected directly to the battery. In addition, the extension cable allows a more flexible installation of the solar module.

One end of the extension cable is attached to the solar charge controller with screws. The coupling socket is screwed to the solar cable. So that no water can penetrate, we recommend to seal the cable side with a sealant (silicone). Otherwise, the plug connection should be protected against water or in the vehicle.

The extension cable with the coupling plug is attached to the coupling socket and locked with the screw cap. Please only hold on to the knurled nuts and turn.

This extension system is not compatible with the SOLARA DCsolar POWER Move Set 110Wp solar module. For this we recommend the extension cable DC-Connect-V

The high-quality round plug-in connection consists of 2.5 m twin stranded wire (2.5 mm²) with screwed-on coupling plug
and a coupling socket that must be screwed onto the solar cable.
